OUR misSION

to train, commission, and deploy a team of chaplains to go out into witney town centre to listen, love, & look out for the people of our town.  l

What I can do, you cannot. What you can do, I cannot. But together we can do something beautiful for God.

we are looking for someone who is...​

  • overflowing with god's love

  • broken for the broken

  • a great listener

  • passionate about making a difference in witney​

  • lay or clergy

are you able to...

  • do the training to become a town chaplain? (Training will be in person and online. there will be a certificate at the end)

  • offer a few hours during the day whenever you are able? 

​

  • the team prays together before going out in twos

  • relationship building with the businesses in witney

  • relationship building with the people out and about

  • reaching out to those who may look lonely or in need

  • listening until they feel heard

  • inviting them to talk more another day if need be

  • debrief (but with the utmost confidentiality)

  • close in prayer​​​
